OTAGO DEAF CHILDREN’S FAMILY CAMP 2026
Come for the weekend or even just a day trip!
Heaps of activities including waterslide, kayaking, Flying fox, Archery and more!
The camp is for deaf and hard or hearing kids and their families. It’s a great event to connect and have fun.

WHEN: 5 pm Friday 27th March to 1 pm Sunday 29th March, 2026
COST: OADC member camp registration fee $45 per family (includes $15 annual OADC membership)
Family not living at home are welcome but will need to pay an additional registration fee of $30 per family
Non OADC member camp registration fee $150 per adult and $120 per child and is subject to Committee approval (Otago residents can join on the day!)
You can come for just one night or just a day, however the registration fee remains the same.
REGISTRATIONS CLOSE FRIDAY 13th March 2026
Registration fees are due by 13th March 2026. If you would prefer to pay at camp, you will need to arrange this prior.

THINGS TO BRING:
BEDDING eg sleeping bag and pillow. Mattresses provided, but no pillows.
Recommended to bring extra bedding and warm clothes as Otago is not renowned for its tropical conditions.
TOILETRIES including toilet paper, towels, toothbrush, soap, facecloth and torch (plus extra batteries)
CHANGE OF CLOTHES indoor shoes/slippers
SWIMMING GEAR AND WET SUITS (if you have them)
Clothing and shoes for wet and fine weather
Good idea to have clothing, etc, named
